A catch-all feature that is enabled for a particular e-mailbox will permit you to receive emails that are sent to addresses that do not actually exist. Otherwise put, if you deactivate an email address and somebody still sends a message to it, or to any mistyped email address under the same domain name, you will receive the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature means that you won’t miss an email for any reason, which could be crucial if you are running a business, for example. Since you may start receiving spam messages, you can use the catch-all feature with anti-spam filters so as to receive only real messages in your inbox. Only one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for a catch-all mailbox.
